The vehicle VIN along with the fuel and energy consumption data is required to be shared with the European Commission as part of EU Regulation 2021/392. Data being shared is related to fuel consumed, for PHEVs electric energy data and distance travelled. For more information please refer to the regulation published on the EU web site. You can opt-out of your specific vehicle data being shared with the Commission, notification to opt out is required before the end of March to guarantee exclusion.
